Welcome to My Mabinogi Money Guide

Well it looks as though you’ve found my page on making easy money in Mabinogi. Well I must confess it isn’t such an easy thing to do. Unless you’re an uber person who can solo any dungeon in the game then yeah, it’s easy. In this page you’re going to learn my personal tips on making fast money whether you’re a combat type person or someone who can’t fight for beans…or in this case berries! ^.^

Option 1: Part-time Jobs (PTJs)

How did you know I was going to say that one first? Well it’s because that one is one of the obvious ways to make money especially if you are not of the combat type. If you are just starting out in the game I suggest starting your PTJs in Tir Chonaill. It’s pretty simple to start a regular routine if you time them all just right you can do almost all of them on time and still have time to hang out with your friends before the deadline approaches.

You can make a simple routine by preparing the items for the next day such as gathering wool for the healer’s house, however please make note that for the healer’s house in Tir Chonaill the job varies. You’re either delivering potions to NPC or getting wool. Although, it doesn’t hurt to be prepared incase they do ask for wool. Same for the Deian jobs as well since he only asks for wool its easy to be prepared so that way if you do healer’s house and get a potions job, just run over to Deian and do the wool job for him. Then you can run to the Piaras at the Inn and do that job if you’ve gathered the wood from the previous in-game night and still be on time for the 12pm jobs.

Here are the following PTJs available to Tir Chonaill

  • Healer’s House: start time 6am, report time 9am, deadline 3pm
  • The Inn: start time 7am, report time 9am, deadline 7pm
  • General Store: start time 7am, report time 9am, deadline 7pm
  • Deian: start time 7am, report time 9am, deadline 7pm
  • Blacksmith: start time 12pm, report time 1pm, deadline 7pm
  • Grocery Store: start time 12pm, report time 2pm, deadline 9pm

  • General Shop
  • Flowershop (pre-gather flowers beg. 10 bunches, inter 15 bunches, adv 20 bunches)
  • Music Store
  • Clothing Store (delivery only)
  • Grocery Store (sometimes asks to cook things so get your cooking ranks up!)
  • Church (pre-gather eggs and corn, eggs: beg 15, inter 20, adv 30 - corn: beg 10, inter 15, adv 20)
  • Weapon Shop

Oh! On a side note…this can also go for all the PTJs as well. You can check what the jobs are first so you can see if you’ll be able to make it in time for the others that are before 12pm. But remember if you're checking, dont accept until you are sure enough you can complete the job.

Ok now for the explanations on some of the jobs. These are mostly for the Dunbarton/Emain PTJs I believe the times for Tir Chonaill stay the same the entire time.

  • Town office  - the report time changes for those that do 50+ jobs which is why it’s no longer in my current jobs routine. The report time for the Town Office is 4pm and the deadline is 8pm.
  • Clothing Shop – the report time changes for those that have done 50+ jobs but ONLY if the job offered is a tailoring job. The report time is 5pm. And this is why I only do the delivery jobs. Oh yeah and another note for those that have done a lot of jobs like 100+ I think. If you get the one where it tells you to give clothes to Walter (general shop NPC) he’ll say he doesn’t want them and to give them to Austen (Dun Bank NPC). The first time I got that one I didn’t know who Austeyn was >_>

The best time to do PTJs is on Friday (increase in job payments) and that’s it for the PTJs part of this guide. If you’d like a list of the different types of jobs available for Tir Chonaill and Dunbarton, you can visit Mabinogi World Wiki.

Option 2: Quests & Party Quests

If you really want fast cash, the quests you receive from levels 1-25 are a good way to go. A good majority of those quests give money, some cool items that you can sell to other players. Although with some quests its best to do with a party. You can even do party quests if you like. Get a bunch of friends, buy a party quest. To see a list of different party quests you can visit Mabinogi World Wiki

The following is a list of NPC which sell Party quests…

  • Duncan (Tir Chonaill)
  • Trefor (Tir Chonaill)
  • Tracy (Dugald Isle)
  • Eavan (Dunbarton)
  • Seumas (Gairech)
  • Coman (Bangor)

Option 3: Dungeons, Hunting & Fomor Scrolls

Here is another option to make money. Oh I know what you’re saying “I’m not high enough level to do these” well here’s some news for you… LEVEL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RUNNING THROUGH DUNGEONS!!!!!!!!!! IT’S ALL IN THE SKILLS!!! You can be level 1 and still do a run in a beginner dungeon, hell I did a beginner dungeon in Ciar at level 1 (of course I was a rebirth but still…) it all depends on how good your skills are. And this goes for all the dungeons in the game. You just have to know how to beat the monsters to get through them. You can do beginner dungeon runs for Alby and Ciar. For Alby you can get the passes from Trefor who is located to the north near Alby Dungeon (see map for location). For Ciar you can get the passes from Ranald located at the school (see map for location).

Here is my way of getting cash from Ciar Dungeon…

  • Pay a visit to Ranald and get as many Ciar Beginner passes as you can hold. I usually get 12
  • Make sure your gear is blessed and durability to its full capacity
  • Make sure you have your money pouches 10k holder is good but if you’re like me and do a lot at once then its best to get a couple of 50k pouches.
  • Make sure you have a back up weapon incase the durability runs out before you run out of passes
  • Head to Ciar dungeon and Drop the pass
  • Clear out the rooms and pick up ALL the fomor scrolls until you have 10 of each, the more the better. You probably won’t have 10 of each until probably you get close to running out of passes.
  • Be sure to pick up every bit of gold that drops from the monsters and chests.
  • When you’re done and out of beginner passes, head back to Tir Chonaill and buy the correct hunting quest scrolls from Duncan (see map for location).
  • Complete the quests receive cash then deposit into the bank and repeat.

I usually only do my runs once a day because it can get pretty boring doing nothing but dungeons all day long. And not only do you get plenty of money but you also can gain plenty of exp as well. If you’re adventurous and have a party you can combine this and use a few party quests while running through the dungeons like regular, basic or intermediate. The best time to do dungeons are on Sundays (increase on lucky finishes and critical hit) and Tuesdays (increase on dungeon drops) and if you have it from doing 100+ jobs wear your diligence title. In my own personal experience, I found that I get more lucky finishes with the Diligence title rather than the Lucky title mostly because it helps the critical hit skill with the extra will points added on from it.

And there you have it. My secret to making money its lots of work but if you really want that 300k item bad enough you’ll stick to the program and in no time you’ll have enough to buy it. Hope this helps you some! Enjoy and Good Luck! ^.^
